Hello, my name is Edward Bowen and I am an 18-year-old student currently pursuing a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Photography at Shrewsbury Colleges Group, located in Shropshire, England. I am currently in my second year, honing my skills and expanding my knowledge in the field of photography.
My dedication to the art of photography began at a young age, fostered by countless hours spent with my grandfather, Dave. We explored the Church Stretton Hills and its surrounding areas, capturing moments and landscapes. This invaluable apprenticeship has shaped my passion for photography since I was just 6 years old.
Throughout my photography course, I have delved into various specialisations, including digital fine art, print making, long exposure techniques, multiplicity, working with filters, capturing portraits, landscapes, and much more. In my leisure time, I am constantly experimenting with different techniques and styles, eager to learn and grow as a photographer.

My ultimate goal is to build a successful career in photography. To accomplish this, I have planned to continue my education at Wolverhampton University after completing college in July 2024. There, I will pursue a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Photography, equipping myself with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the industry.
Recognising the need to fund my passion and establish myself as a photographer, I have taken the initiative to set up this website. On this platform, I will be offering my photography services and selling images that showcase my unique artistic perspective. As a fresh and aspiring freelance photographer, I am continuously refining my craft, exploring new techniques, and expanding my skill set.

Throughout my years at college, I have already honed my abilities and discovered several genres in which I excel. These include sports photography, environmental portraits, architectural captures, and Landscapes. Moreover, I have recently developed a keen interest in Iris photography, a fascinating art form that involves capturing the intricate details of the iris using a macro lens and transforming it into a copyrighted piece of unique art.
